JASON CHUA
General Practitioner
Jason graduated with honours from Monash University in 2002. He subsequently worked in hospitals and clinics around Melbourne and regional Victoria and attained his fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. He enjoys general family medicine and has a particular interest in childhood allergies, travel medicine and dermatology including skin cancer. He is an examiner for the RACGP and has previously been involved in running clinics in travel medicine. When not at work Jason enjoys travelling, tennis and photography, but now spends most of his time trying to keep his four young kids out of mischief.

PAUL SHORTIS
General Practitioner
Paul grew up in East Kew and attended St Annes Primary School. He graduated with honours from Monash University in 2002 and spent 5 years working in Box Hill hospital and Geelong Hospital. During this time he completed rural rotations in Warrnambool, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. Subsequently Paul commenced the general practice training program and completed his fellowship of FRACGP in 2009. He also assists two orthopaedic surgeons and works as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Paul has a special interest in chronic disease management, aged care, paediatrics, travel medicine and sports medicine in addition to all elements of general practice. When not at work Paul enjoys spending time with his family and chasing after his young children. Paul also enjoys cycling, athletics, hiking and skiing.

PAUL FLOOD
General Practitioner
Paul, a 1975 Monash Graduate, completed nine years of postgraduate training in Australia and England followed by 14 years as a rural GP on Phillip Island. This encompassed research and teaching with Monash Centre for Rural Health and the College of GPs focussing on face-to-face and distance education. Life on Phillip Island also led to marriage and children (born at the local Bush Nursing Hospital). In pursuit of further teaching, travel and adventure, Paul and family sojourned in the United Arab Emirates from 1999 – 2005 where he held an academic and clinical appointment in Family Medicine at the National University in the oasis city of Al Ain. Following this wonderful academic and family adventure, the family returned to Australia in 2004 and Paul joined Kew General Practice. Ongoing learning and the richness of the breadth and depth of General Practice are key elements for Paul. When not at work, he enjoys bike riding, theatre, opera and travel.

JESSICA CHONG
General Practitioner
Jessica graduated from Monash University in 1997. In 2000, she completed the Diploma of The Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She completed rural general practice training in Korumburra in South Gippsland. Before working at Kew General Practice, she worked in Melbourne’s South East. Jessica is interested in general medicine, paediatrics, chronic disease management and women’s health. She is able to provide maternity shared care with Mercy Hospital for Women and The Royal Women’s Hospital. She enjoys travelling, baking and catching up with family and friends.

ELISSA STAFFORD
General Practitioner
Elissa graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours in Medicine in 2004 and also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science for research. She worked at Austin health, the Mercy Hospital for Women and in General Practice in rural and city areas of Victoria and in other areas of Australia. She is a competent and kind GP, interested in women’s health, chronic disease, paediatrics and dermatology, along with all areas of medicine. She has 3 young children and enjoys reading and fitness.

TIFFANY KWOK
General Practitioner
Tiffany, who grew up in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, graduated from Melbourne University with a medical degree in 2008 and has worked in General Practice for 12 years. She has an interest in chronic disease management, women’s health, children’s health and skin health. Tiffany also holds a certificate in aesthetic medicine. She can do Pap smears, insertion and removal of implanon, small excision biopsies, provide skin health advice and complete mental health care plans. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her two sons, husband and cavoodle and is often looking for the next new show on Netflix.

TIM HSU
General Practitioner - Cosmetic Physician
Tim graduated from Flinders University, South Australia in 2013. Over the past 10 years, having worked at various locations across rural SA, Victoria, and Cairns in the disciplines of Rural Medicine, Emergency, and General Practice, he has developed special interests in skin cancers & minor procedures. He then undertook further educational courses on cutaneous surgery in the USA. Tim's artistic approach in skin cancer surgery aiming to achieve symmetrical outcomes and facial harmony has also led him down the paths of aesthetics medicine. Tim has multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals, is a co-author of a medical textbook on scarring pathophysiology, and is an APTOS certified doctor in thread lifting procedures.

CATHERINE DODGSHUN
General Practitioner
After completing her medical degree, Catherine attained a Diploma of Obstetrics from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Catherine takes an active interest in understanding each individual and their context, and aims to provide comprehensive care to people of all ages. Catherine welcomes the opportunity to assist you with the management of your health care needs.

CATHY AAS
Practice Nurse
Cathy joined our team in 2015. She is a registered nurse with previous experience working in public hospitals, both in Melbourne and in Scotland, where she lived for several years. She is a trained nurse immuniser.
Cathy has three daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, cycling and running.

KATE KAY
Practice Nurse
Kate is a critical care registered nurse with specialised expertise in coronary care over many decades. Her other roles have included patient liaison and safety and clinical risk. Kate completed her PhD in Nursing in 2015 and subsequently nursed both her parents at home until their passing. Kate then moved to public health and continued with her primary care interests. She joined the Victorian Covid-19 Response Team supporting people with COVID-19, particularly the elderly, children and their families.
Kate was the sole nurse in a Respiratory Specialist Practice and more recently moved to General Practice. She cherishes the ability to directly support people with kindness and compassion in a respectful and collaborative environment.
When not working, Kate enjoys spoiling her beloved rescue beagles.

NATASHA SCANGA
Practice Nurse
Natasha completed her degree in Nursing & Midwifery in 2021. She has experience working in public hospitals, specialising in gynaecology/oncology. She is also a trained Nurse Immuniser.
Whilst not working, Natasha enjoys spending time with family, doing crossword puzzles and going for walks amongst nature. She also loves a nice cup of tea!
