Please note that doctors at Kew General Practice will not prescribe vapes.
Repeat prescriptions and referrals
An appointment is usually required for repeat prescriptions and referrals, which ensures optimal patient care and satisfies the doctors’ medicolegal obligations.
If an appointment is not required, a non-rebatable fee of $20 is charged to cover the doctor’s administrative time. Please note that in most instances a repeat prescription or referral will not be supplied unless you have attended the practice within the last 3 months.
Note: referrals will NOT be back-dated, as Medicare does not allow this.
Onsite Pathology
Our Practice offers in-house Pathology collection by Melbourne Pathology for your convenience.

Non-English Speaking
Dr Hsu is fluent in English and Mandarin and Dr Kwok is fluent in English and Cantonese with some Mandarin. Kew General Practice also has access to a translation service which enables consultations to occur in over one hundred languages. Please contact reception prior to your appointment if you would like us to arrange a translation service for your visit to the GP.
